How do you greet in your life? Is it different for different people?
How so and why? Do you touch people when you talk to them? why? or why not?
I think it will change depends on situation or people.
forexample, when i meet my friends, i greet them "yahho-!!" something like that. and i will wave my hand. On the other hand, when i meet people like a teacher or stranger, i say "konnichiha" and bow.
I dont touch people when i talk to stranger or person who is i dont know so much.
if i talk with my friends or families, i touch their hand or something!
But i never hug!!!

hi,
返信削除yeah hug does not suit japanese culture, i think. however, it is really interesting thing, because some cultures from the other countries can suit our culture and some can not.
For example, we celebrate X-mas but we don't Ester, like hug.
What do you think what is the border between them?
